My name is Katelyn Anderson, and I am a fourth-year doctoral student at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). I am looking for cancer caregivers who have lost a loved one at least 12 months ago from cancer. This study investigates a cancer caregiver’s grief, relationship to the deceased loved one, and thought processes. To join in this study, you must have been a cancer caregiver, 18 years or older at the time of the study, and your loved one must have passed away at least 12 months ago. This is an anonymous, voluntary study, and you may drop out at any time. The survey will take about 20-30 minutes to complete. Participants who complete the study may enter into a raffle. Two people will be chosen at random to win a $50 Visa gift card. This raffle is separate from the survey and participants will not be able to be identified. This raffle will not be linked to the survey data. This study has been approved by the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine IRB (protocol #H23-005X). Please follow the link to be directed to the online research study. Questions about the survey can be directed to Dr. Barbara Golden at [email protected].
