La primera impresión es que se trata de una granulomatosis generalizada. ¿Tienes a mano un estudio histológico? ¿Por casualidad cuentas con cultivos bacteriológicos previos a procesar las muestras para histopatología? Vamos por partes. Si hay estudio histológico se encontraron granulomas duros o caseosos? En cortes histológicos es importante realizar un tipo de marcha analítica adaptada con las reacciones de Von Kossa, de Pizzolato y Lillie, Ziehl Nielsen tradicional y modificado por Giménez, Gram y Gallego, reacción del ácido periódico de Schiff modificado por Mc. Manus. Se tomaron previsiones para Microscopía Óptica de Alta Resolución (MOAR), en caso negativo pueden correrse para microscopía de luz tradicional todos los estudios que se hicieron en parafina pero esta vez utilizando plástico, preferible resina Spurr como medio de inclusión y soporte para cortes a 1-2 micras de grosor. Si te interesa, en la Revista de Ciencias Veterinarias publicamos dos artículos con datos, fotomicrografías y comentarios.
