I am doing some research work on the parallel connection of the bidirectional buck boost converter. I will upload the schematic at the end.
Using the converters, I charge and discharge different chemistry of batteries. During charging phase, the converter works as a buck to charge the battery. During discharging phase, the converter works as a boost converter to give supply to the loads connected to the load bus.
Generally, if it is single converter we use voltage controlled mode but I am connecting them in parallel I need control methods like droop or current control methods.
I searched many for many journals about it. But could not find much information. I want some circuits as well.
Can someone please help me.
Generally, virtual impedance method, angle droop and frequency droop control are utilized with different purposes in microgrid.

Can we use them for DC applications. As you can see two batteries. I want to use two different chemistry of batteries Lead and Lithium.
I am searching for a great conclusion how the systems reacts if I use the above configuration.
* First of all, you can not directly connect two sources.
* If I were you, I wouldn't use the buck-boost converter topology. Use either buck or boost converter topology. Check the following:
* Do not use the DIODE-MOSFET structure, Use the MOSFET-MOSFET structure.
* Then, from one side to another side, you will have either Buck or Boost topology at the same time. And, you will always have an inductor between the sources. As a result, you can control the system by measuring inductor currents,

If I use either buck or boost I cant charge and discharge the batteries. In charging phase buck charges the battery and in discharging phase, boost step up the battery voltage to the Dc load connected to it.
