By designing an attitude inventory scale targeting the factors making quality production in the writing skill and giving it to several raters ( specially native speakers), we can achieve a more realistic indicator reflecting learners' writing competence. If the suggested approach looks analytical, you can still use the good old , impressionistic method to evaluate a written work.
