Organic farming on this field was continue form last 4 years, now field is completely convert from conventional to Organic. So, you can see crop growth and development
Thank you, sir Aref Wazwaz , yes definitely, there are huge scope of organic farming, We have to compromise with production (up to 50% lower) initially 1-3 years, after that we can got attractive production with quality
The cultural rotation, the study of the crops near environment to optimate your agrosystem, the choice of the cultivars, the soil study after each crops will be the key of the durability of your organic system. each plant has different reponse to organic system and may exist any impasses : this is the Agriculture
@ Kuldip, have you analyze the soil health condition in your field as compared to the chemical fertilizer application of the same crop? Anyway, its a brave attempt and I suggest to demonstrate to the farming community and share your experience.
ys Dr. Kuldeep, your work is very nice, organic farming is the best way to sustain or improve soil health, environment, and ecological balance as well as improve the quality of the food which is the prime aim of organic farming.
Management of organic plants, organic fertilizer treatment should be carried out in stages:
1. Treatment of 50% organic fertilizer and 50% inorganic fertilizer.
2. Treatment of 70% organic fertilizer and 30% inorganic fertilizer.
3. Treatment of 100% organic fertilizer.
This is to see the effectiveness of plant growth and yield. And from an economic point of view, most farmers still use inorganic fertilizers to increase their farming yields.
For the french organic agriculture , only organic fertilisation from organic cattle are agreeded . Other system is consider as conventional system . In France 75 % of synthetic molecules have been suprimed and our conventional agriculture and this one is very near of organic system keeping few solution against destructive deseases(plum pox virus, bacterian fire.. .)in contrary of organic system . The french rules are harder than UE ones. This's agriculture sectory. Speaking organic may be really different from where you are in the world.
Organic farming in principle requires climate classification, especially rainfall and temperature which are very important for plant growth processes, and are useful in maintaining soil fertility. This is indeed different in each agricultural system in different countries
Good crop. Its true you can turn an area once used for inorganic fertilizers into a complete organic environment for growing crops like your case. We need to promote organic farming to reduce on chemical effects on human health!
It is very true that organic farming products are good for health. However, farming at a large scale might a high cost. Mineral fertilizers are unavoidable if we want to feed the growing population.
At first, best wishes for your great work initiative. It looks very natural I hope It will be healthy. So, what are the bio pesticides you are using for your crops?
For biopesticides, I often use a mixture of papaya leaves, kerosene and dab soap to control pests and diseases on horticultural crops, such as chilies, tomatoes and vegetables.
Anusree Ghosh thank you mam for your kind words, yes crops are healthy. I did not see any serious pest attach to the crop but in case any one occur I go with botanical insecticides like neem and karnaj oil, same time seed treatment with beenlja mrut and jeeva mrut provide great foundation, so less pest attack was noticed.
Dear Mr. Kuldeep Singh, thank you for sharing your great works. You may use ash if there is aphid attack in your plants. Its a good bio pesticide. And you may use turmeric water if there is ant attacking in the tender part of the plants. Thank you.
