The impact factor of open access journals (especially MDPI journals) are increasing very fast due to heavy citations. There will a great competetion in future. What you say about it?
they are doing better job in reviewing papers (within 7 days) and reward reviewers by points, so I think they have some merits compared with free publishing journals. I think the most affected by this will be researchers from developing countries who cannot afford to pay the publishing fees and normally unfairly get their work rejected by many journals because they have limited facilities and resources.

Rana Muhammad Aadil - Open Access means more readers, more potential collaborators, more citations for their work, and ultimately more recognition for them and their institution. It is free, unrestricted online access to research outputs such as journal articles and books. Open Access enhances visibility and impact of one's own work as Open Access articles are downloaded and cited more frequently than articles from non-Open Access journals. Developing countries and small or specialized research institutions and corporations have access to all Open Access articles. In this sense, Open access journals will surely give tough times to Subscribed journals.
I don't think so that Open access journal will give tough times to subscription-based journals. There are many reasons for this. Few to mention. Firs and foremost is the number of submissions is going up at unprecedented speed, and subscription-based journal published a very limited number of articles like on average 100-300, and they get 1000+ submission. So they will not face a tough time from Open Access. as they will get 10 times more submission than what they need to publish.
European countries have signed up to facilitate the researchers. They fund to publish their research in open-access journals or freely-accessible websites by 2020. This kind of initiative is also required in developing countries.
