Online mode of teaching is a new normal to the teaching fraternity. I personally speak,  the experience of teaching through online teaching mode is not satisfactory at all. too much work to do but very less satisfaction. I will always prefer face to face communication over online mode of learning.

Definitely, there are some positive aspects of online education.

But, THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE OF CLASS ROOM EDUCATION.

I have positive and bad experiences in e-learning in pandemics, positive we teach online and stay safe at home and we can spend our time with families and etc, the bad experience I cant communicate well with students because they have obstacles of limit internet signal and it blocking of the purpose of learning achiecvement

Online education is beneficial to a very great extent. It's still good to engage students physically sometimes for a tete a tete knowledge exchange and mentoring. The experiences are enormous.

Advent of the global pandemic has hindered lot or drastically changed academic learnings to heavy depending on virtual connectivity. One positive aspect is supposedly to time saving at finger tip. However virtuality is not satisfactory or reliable when experienced due to these followings; technical glitch, virtuality, poor connection, data limits etc. but the proven fact is that, still one-on-one traditional classroom learning has no replacement.

I guess we have been learning a very interesting new way of teaching with the CoV issue, Prof. Zakaria Al-Qodah

I point out the asynchronous way of learning & the flipped classroom activities that of course improve the role of students and change the way lecturers teach.

Though face-to-face teaching is always highly beneficial and preferable, COVID-19 brought many challenges to the teaching and learning communities. It is an opportunity for the teachers to learn and upgrade themselves to cutting-edge technologies. It is an amazing experience but teachers need to equip themselves instead of blaming. Let us learn to change with time. From the student's point of view, they have mixed feelings. Certainly physical and mental health is becoming one of the major issues to handle. Availability and affordability of electronic gadgets, internet facilities is another issue, especially during the lockdown.

One of the major advantages, what I felt is the parents' involvement. The teacher-student-parent combination is strengthening, which I feel one of the good signs in teaching and learning.

We are experiencing a radical exceptional situation in all areas and senses. A very difficult situation for everyone, especially for those who are in charge of looking after those of us at home. Landing on the educational plane, we had to go, in a matter of hours, from a face-to-face system to an almost improvised digital one. Currently teachers are experimenting with something unforeseen, a whole adventure that we did not have and for which we have no previous valid references. This situation has meant that each center and, I would dare to say that each teacher, despite using things very similar to those of the rest, is treating this issue in the best way for their own educational reality and also taking into account their training and methodological lines to follow. In many cases, the students, once the schools were closed, were made to carry textbooks so that, from home, they could continue advancing in the syllabus, guided by their teachers who, from a distance , they are telling them what exercises to do.

La pandémie a obligé de passer de l'enseignement en présentiel à l'enseignement en ligne. Pour l'année académique 2021-2022, et si la situation sanitaire le permet, je trouve qu'il faut repenser le mode d'enseignement. La mise en place d'un enseignement hybride qui met en valeur les avantages de l'enseignement en présentiel et ceux de l'enseignement en ligne sera intéressante.

The pandemic has forced a shift from face-to-face to online teaching. For the academic year 2021-2022, and if the health situation allows it, I think that we need to rethink the mode of teaching. The implementation of hybrid education that highlights the advantages of face-to-face teaching and those of online teaching will be interesting.

Distance learning is inevitable during the pandemic and has become the only solution so far. While appreciating the benefits, I would like to highlight the low student retention rates in online education. We need to reform the teachings towards more of student centric techniques. Would like to study and read more about online education and how it could transform education to another level.

I have had a good experience either with on-line as well as face-to-face education. However, I have found that certain students like on-line education better than phisically presence in a classroom and viceversa. It is a very complicated issue that deserves discussion and research. I wil "bet on" mainly in a hybrid education based on every course. Ergo, I would suggest that the profile and requirements of every course should be established considering the students' preferences . So, every course could be designed for students with different preferences, such as: on-line, phisically assistance and/or hybrid activities. Each student will decide which course suits him better. This is an importan issue and we should consider it seriously because pandemia has changed the behaviour of human beings and education is not excluded from that huge impact. Although, distance learning will have a very relevant place, if not the most in today's education at all levels, we can discard other approaches. As I said before, this matter needs to be studied in depth with a lot of research.

Mi experiencia me dice, que la educación es mejor a distancia, teniendo entendido que la educación a distancia es una combinación entre presencial y en línea ya que tengo alumnos de escasos recursos, que trabajar todo en línea no se puede ya que los padres trabajan en la misma casa no tienen un lugar apropiado para trabajar, por lo que en este caso se tiene que ser mixto o mejor dicho hacer educación a distancia.

I can agree with you partially. However, we need to understand the quaility level cannot be attributed to the learning methology such as: on-line, virtual, distance education. The problem lies in the lack of preparation of many teachers in the use of new technologies and new teaching-learning strategies. In fact, this is a topic for much debate and research. In my case, I have had experience as a student and teacher at the Open National University in Venezuela, as a follower of the Open University in Florida and as a student in the Neptune Project in Italy (partially at a distance) through the Universita Degli Studi di Siena; and the results have been optimal in most cases of graduate students and teachers.

Online learning and reaching can be very exhausting . However, it has it pros in terms of flexibility and accessibility. The cons however outweighs the pros. In my experience it has been the engagement and participation that has been very challenging as international students are in different time zones which hampers learning. Online teaching may not be appealing to most students. I am perplexed when students say they prefer face to face classes yet do not seem to put their cameras on during class.

Classroom teaching has an advantage over this because students tend to be more motivated and this has have a positive impact on learning.

As Jamie E Soto U mentioned (See comment above) sometimes it can be the teachers who do not want to adapt and integrate technology in class because they have taught for years in a certain fashion and it works for them. But both teachers and students must change with time and adapt to the world around them. We educators and students have been and are going through the same journey. It is good to work together and be willing learners... Lifelong learners ....
