I wrote a one-group meta-analysis (meta-analysis of proportions), which is currently under peer review.

I calculated and reported pooled weighted means and estimated proportions about different treatment modalities for a specific pathology. I did not carry out a comparative meta-analysis, since no included papers provided comparative data: each paper presented a different treatment modality and the respective outcomes. So, I performed a systematic review of the literature, and I carried out a one-group variable synthesis for each main outcome.

However, a Reviewer suggested to perform a "P value analysis between the treatment modalities for each main outcome".

Do you think it is appropriate, and feasible, such analysis?

Thank you for your help.
