Me and my team needs your help and experience in explaining and "odd" behaviour that we observed during our experiments that is dealing with the measurements of droplets size of 0.2 to 1.0 M electrolyte solution dispersed in immiscible octanioc acid medium through microfluidic chip. The droplet size was low at 0.2M concentration and started to increase by increasing the concentration of the ion-solution up to 1M, what is surprising is that the ion-free water showed the largest droplet size.Knowing that we are using NaNO3 water solution dispersed in octanioc acid phase. I will be very happy to discuss any constructive feedbacks.
