Hello,

I am looking for a nuclear stain to use on Arabidopsis whole roots, but it has to be non-toxic and not effect development.

I was thinking about Hoechst33342 - lipophillic, and stains the minor groove of dsDNA. Does anyone know whole about cell wall permeability? Or have any advice on other stains?
