I understand there are conversions between the gs on a system centrifugation and if not mistaken when it is from an automated process to a simple "plate -keep the system balanced" (Please correct if it not true). A nomograph makes a line to all the equivalences in gs to make sure they all balance. Above all they might offer the conversion between gs and rpm (revolutions per minute). Are there new methods for conversions? Are there automated processes in the same manner as nomographs do? How many types of nomographs are there? Are they becoming extinct? Do new centrifugation systems solve the problem of conversions/tasks in a completely different way? What to do with the old ones? (Is there something you should not be doing?)
