06 March 2019 5 6K Report

Hello everyone

So i am seeking some help regarding my upcoming report (attached file).

C12H14O4

DBE=6

From the IR-spectrum we have no peak above 3000cm-1 which indicate no C=C double bonds (or aromatic rings). The peak at 1724 should indicate ester or ketone. But in the H-NMR we got signals at 7.4 - 8.6 ppm interval which would likely indicate an aromatic ring which do not corresponds with the IR-spectra (no peak above 3000).

C-NMR shows signals about 165ppm which could indicate a ketone. and about 130ppm which could again indicate an aromatic ring.

From the mass spectra its correspond well with an ester.

So i am little bit confused is it an arotamic, aliphatic, ester or ketone?

Hope someone could help. Thank you.
