Can anyone tell me please what difference will i have in results between activating or deactivating NLGeom in steps , knowing that i use plasticity values for steel material in property module, the model consists of a beam to column steel joint, i use static loading.
the job is converging only when i desactivate it.. what is the reason ?
@sara bachir I think we face with 3types of nonlinearity in modeling and analysis of structural components. These are included nonlinearity of geometry, material, and boundary condition. When you active the nonlinearity of geometry, the prediction of displacement are not been calculated by linear functions. Also, when it is activated, the model has been allowed to experiences any probable local and overall buckling. These two points cause to have a correct prediction. Thus, It is better to active NLGOM in your model.

The problem of abacus is we can not add magnetic materials
We have to add some more concrete or steel as the reinforce materials
I tried find the best option for future materials
Instead of using the pines ans normal steel, use the magnetic materials, all structures will be stable
