I saw that several protocols for the analysis of nitrogen wet deposition prescribe the analysis of the collected samples every week.
Would it be fine to perform the analysis of the collected sample every 2 weeks? Are there protocols supporting this timing?

J. C. Tarafdar thank you very much for your precious resources! The US standard is a weekly analysis of the sample. However, I could still not find an answer if a bi-weekly analysis of the samples can ben scientifically acceptable. I think the problem may be related to the N species particularly prone to volatilization.
The wet deposition monitoring protocal covers all over the USA. Therefore the operators visit the sampling station regularly on week interval. This monitoring infcat very much dependent on the precipitation. Therefore you should plan your sampling ferequncey by considering the precipitation and scale of the study area. If you do theis study in country base it would be suitable to use one week sampling frequency. Otherwise folloving the precipitation could be a reasonable way of monitoring the wet deposition for a specific site. Some parameters ei nitrate undergoe chemical reactions even some of it can be lost when the samples stay unforvarable conditions for log time before analysis.
