Hello Everyone,
Does somebody have technical experience in charging vials and Eppendorf tubes (size 2 μl) with nitrogen and possible affections to powder and solutions?
To prepare the working solution for our experiment we need to dissolve a powder with DMSO into a stock solution, freeze it afterwards and finally dilute it into the working solution. During this process the active substance might become instable due to its tendency to oxidize. That’s why I want to prefill the vials for the powder and solutions with nitrogen to prevent contact to oxygen.
Does somebody have technical experience in charging little vials and Eppendorf tubes with nitrogen and possible affections?
Furthermore I´m afraid that the temperature of liquid nitrogen affects the DMSO somehow and the shock freezing might destabilize the active substance. Does somebody have experience or recommendations for this case?
I´m really looking forward to your answer and if you could provide me a little video, I will be very grateful!
Best regards,
Hans
