How can i determine whether interaction between NH2 and COO is Covalent or non-Covalent?(Which method or Which instrument).
Depends on the context - in the simplest case, a pH titration would do the trick: an amide bond does not change its protonation state, while NH3 and COOH groups show clear transitions in the alkaline (pKa around 9) and acidic (pKa around 2-4)
Dear Prof Annemarie Honegger
