Does anybody knows how long does it takes between the publication of a new paper (online, in the journal webpage...) and its appearance on Scopus? Thanks for your kind reply,
I doubt there is a universal answer. This would depend inter alia on the publisher (e.g. Elsevier journals are apparently better integrated with Scopus, so I'd expect things could be faster for them).
It depends on the publisher and journal policy, it may take a few days after the official release with volume and page number, or take a month or more.
It depends on the publisher. For example, if it is IEEE, sometimes it takes a few months. But, if it is Elsevier, it may take a few days. I am asking Why?!!!!
I would like to add one supplementary question. In case of Earlycite paper in Scopus Index journals can take by Scopus, or it will only take once it appeared in the issue? Please reply if you have any ideas
