From a viscometry essay of a montmorillonite suspension, my experimental data fits nicely to Hershel-Bulkley model, however the calculated yield stress is negative, which is physically meaningless.
Rooki et al. (Korea-Australia Rheology Journal, 24(3), 163–170. 2012) attacked the problem by using Genetic algorithms and found a good correlation with other methods, as the Golden Section method deveoped by Kelessidis (J. Pet. Sci. Eng. 53, 203-224. 2006).
Can you suggest any other approximation to this problem?
Thanks and best regards,
Ernesto.
