Looking for some tips or suggestions to find peer-reviewed journals/conferences which have good acceptance & shorter processing time as well in the field of chemical engineering or environmental engineering.

For journals you may want to check out (in no particular order):
1. Environmental Research Letters: http://iopscience.iop.org/journal/1748-9326

I do review for a number of journals that often quick in their response times to authors and I find the above listed examples to particularly stand out. I am currently on the editorial board of Carbon Management and Sustainability (MDPI) Journals. I also do review for the Environmental Research Letters.
However, aim to prepare a very good and academically robust paper as this will help significantly in quicker response time irrespective of the journal it is submitted to. Generally speaking there is relatively quicker response time for most journals if the paper is quality to start with. But as I have recommended these three journals above, are pretty quick overall.

According to the journal's website, the average review speed is about 4 weeks from submission to the initial decision and about 6 weeks from submission to final editorial decision.
You can try Industrial and engineering chemistry research (ACS). What I observed is tentatively in 40 days you will get the first revision. If everything is OK then within 2.5 month your paper is accepted.
