I need to know which of the available softwares (CASINO, SRIM,...) could simulate electron (beta-) penetration in solid. Knowing that beta- particles have a continue energy spectrum (not a unique energy value).
NIST ESTAR (https://physics.nist.gov/PhysRefData/Star/Text/ESTAR.html) has data tables for electron stopping power in various materials. You could use this to write a simple 1D script to find the depth of electron penetration.
