Yo tuve el mismo problema pero con el producto CLOUD cuyas variables que necesitaba tenian una resulución de 1km x1km. Para ello tuve que geolocalizarlas con el producto MOD03, imagino que debe haber un producto para geolocalizar 250m.

Gracias por la ayuda, al final pude resolver la duda, aunque estoy buscando todavía una operación mas óptima. Te comento lo que hice.

Lleve el producto a ENVI, ya que soporta hdf-classic, y dentro de ENVI, reconoce la cuadricula; sin embargo se debe de reproyectar a WG-84, para utilizar estas información para crear el CTL, para lectura en GrADS, y así poder procesar libremente la información. Aun así, estoy buscando otra opción mas viable, también intentaré lo que has recomendado.

Thank you for sharing those documents, I'll definitely have have them. Apparently, I've already solve the problem, however I had to use ENVI tool to do it, I would have liked to have fixed it without much tools.

You can use MRT to extract the given band of these datasets and the map information of them, and also change the format (such as TIF) of them so as to be easily used in GrADS .
