We are having unexpected difficulties with Nanotemper company: ther are refusing to sell us software for the instrument which is 10 years old (stating it is absolete instrument with no further support).. Any advises if there is a way to get MO.Control / MO.Analyze software and licence for Monolith NT instrument?
Take in consideration when spending $150K on new instrument - it will serve no more than 10 years.

Another consideration is that for some large projects (such as genomics or new energies) having an open source development allows to have the support of large communities of developers (software, hardware, biological, chemical, etc.) who want to share the own knowledge...
