Hello everyone,

I am currently designing a study for ion channel regulation.. and I wanted to know what are the protocols that are out there for the inhibition of Na+/K+ ATPase.

I have read few papers where people have used various concentration of NaCl,Hepes,glucose,MgCl2, CaCl2 to make potassium free media with various concentrations of Ouabain? Is there specific media that could be purchase and used? How essential are all these components to be added? Are there any good and most reliable protocol out there. Every paper I have read had different concentrations of reagents besides the fact they were studying variation of Ouabain.

Any help, papers, suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
