My old blocks of tissue embedded in OCT have dried out. Is there any way to make them easier to cut?

I have a couple of OCT-embedded biopsies from a couple of years ago which have been stored at -20. When I try to cut them with a cryostat they flake or stretch and they're dry and spongy. Is there any way to make them possible to cut again?
