Oilseed rape is one of the most important crops in China. In the south of China, it is sown in October which means it grown under short-day conditions. But in the northwest of China, it is sown in spring and grows under long-day conditions. I found a mutant line from a inbred line. Both flower in the same time in the south of China. While I planted them in the northwest of China in May, they showed different flowering time.The wild type can flower and be harvested in October. Howerver, in October, the mutant still showed no buds. Such results were repeatedly observed twice in 2017 and this year.

From your explanation, it seems that the flowering time of the mutant was delayed only when you grows at northwest of China during long-day condition right? Because you grow the plant on the field there are a lot of factor that could affect the flowering time. For example you also grow at different season, so the actual temperature will be also different. Well, I think the altitude will be also affecting the temperature, and also light intensity which is important for flowering time.
So I think you first need to check what is the environmental factor that affect the flowering time of the mutant.
For your question regarding the genes in Arabidopsis, I think there are many genes that involved in photoperiod- or temperature-dependent flowering time. Thank you very much! I have got some papers about photoperiod-dependent flowering time. Some gene, such as hap3b will lead a late flowering phenotype.
