Hello, I have categorical variables for both my dependent and independent variables. I wish to perform a multivariate multiple linear regression (MMLR). So far, I had a mixed response about running linear regressions because dependent variables measured on the Likert scale are not worthy of linear regression. I need a fresh idea or advice as to how I can navigate with my data. Thanks!

You need to perform ordinal regression, as you are using likert scale and I guess your likert scale will provide a dependent variable with some ordinally categorised level.
Multivariate Logistic Regression analysis can be applied for measurable or categorical independent variables and categorical dichotomous or polychotomous dependent variablles .However method is a bit laborious with more than two groups of the dependent variables
