Hi, I'm trying to design a three phase grid feeding inverter. Haven't used a transformer and grid neutral is grounded. LCL filter is being used. Id* and Iq* are references for grid current. These are used to estimate filter capacitor voltage (Vcf) and inverter current (If) from steady state equations.

'If(K+1)' is estimated using backward euler method. Cost function only regulates the inverter current and no weightage is given to switching frequency. As the reference value of Id* is increased the magnitude of 3rd and 5th order harmonics increase and are also present in the grid current.

Any suggestions of what i'm doing wrong or can be done to eliminated these harmonics.
