Is anyone aware of a MOOC/video based free course which gives an introduction to agronomy? I do not see any in edX or Coursera, but am not aware of other plaftorms.
Thank you Dr. Surender Singh! However, I am looking for something introductory and specific to agronomy. Definitions, how a crop grows, how inputs translate into outputs (structures and processes), role of agricultural management etc. And in an interactive video format, preferably in the form of a course.
https://www.mooc-list.com/tags/agronomy doesn't have courses in agronomy, or they are not in English.
The Swayam course is probably the closest (https://swayam.gov.in/course/3952-indian-agricultural-development) but is still quite broad. It has only two sections close to what I want ("Land and Water Resources and Cropping Pattern" and "Plant Genetic Resources and Germplasm Conservation"). Plus it's not open right now.
http://eprints.naarm.org.in/232/1/MOOC%40NAARM-for%20Online-%20PDF.pdf is just a report on MOOCS. Just coincidental that it's printed by an Agricultural Research Agency.
