Currently I am developing a model for a moderation-analyis with three different moderators. My problem is now that I have multiple waves of panel-data which should be included in the statistical analysis and the moderation-analysis should show an effect to differentiate between age groups. I dont want to add age as a moderator as it would not have an influence on my other moderators. I would need like to get some help on how I can differentiate the age groups in my moderation-analysis without adding age as a seperate moderator.
@Hannes From your query, it seems that you wish to compare regression/path coefficients across various sub-groups of Age. Panel Data Multi-Group Analysis with age as grouping variables would be appropriate in your case. Refer to below link for reference.

I am not sure that I am following what you want to do, because you cannot test for moderation effects that involve age without some adding age to the equation. Breaking age into categories or separating the analyses by age still introduces the effects of age, since by definition moderation is nothing more an interaction effect or set of such effects..
