Hello everyone. I want to share one of the recent problems I'm facing in my research and that is to model the soil material. The soil in FEM are usually modeled as a hypoplastic soil. My questions are
1) what is hypoplastic?
2) Why do we need to define soil as a hypoplastic material?
3)How to input material properties for a hypoplastic soil in ABAQUS?
4) Do we need elastic properties too for a hypoplastic soil model or only hypoplastic properties are enough?
