I have been working on a in-silico pipeline that includes miRNA-target predicitons. One of the tools I have used in my methodology is miRTarBase. Last time I used it was in Septembre 2024 for a demo of the pipeline. However now that I'm trying to re-apply the methodology from scratch I don't seem to be able to access the database and always get the message "Access denied. Invalid referer" after all of my searches. Has anyone else faced the same issue? Is there any known issue with the database that I've been ignoring?
I am having the same error. The last time I was able to download the validated interaction data from miRTarBase was in April 2024. Have you managed to resolve this issue in any other way, Ioanna Ioanna Zarogoulidou ? Does anyone know an alternative way to access the most up-to-date dataset from miRTarBase?
I think that now they have resolved the issue since i don't get any "Access denied" message. However I'm not sure that is any different. Last year I would get around 144 results for miR-34c-5p and it's about the same now. I trusted my old sheet and used that in my research.
