Greetings, we would like to seed osteoblasts onto calcium phosphate scaffolds. We want to compare how much new mineral is formed on the scaffold depending on the composition. Can you suggest any methods that can be used to differentiate just new mineral from original scaffold mineral? We are considering microCT (probably resolution isn't good enough), and TGA (assuming new mineral is not identical to original mineral). It is unlikely that we can get an FTIR spectra given how thick the material is...

Thanks!
