I am trying to come up with a methodology to better understand how effective are SETs at evaluating faculty performance in the classroom?
I was thinking about a design in which a faculty member rates themselves using the SETs tool that students use to evaluate the course; having their dean fill out an evaluation and see if there is a correlation between the means of student, faculty, and dean SETs scores.
My question first question is: Would I be able to get access to student mean scores and qualitative data for each SETs question for a particular course at the end of the semester?
My second question is: How else can I test how effective SETs are at evaluating faculty performance in the classroom?
