Seed priming enhances germination speed and uniformity, leading to improved crop establishment and yield. It also increases seedling vigor, making plants more resilient to environmental stress.

seed priming boost up the initial seed germination process in stressed as well as non stressed condition by completing 2 phase of seed germination i.e. imbibition and metabolic breakdown of enzymes for growth except radicle protrusion.

it also helps to overcome dormancy either innate or physiological
