I'm preparing CNT films for conductive electrodes and I need to separate the Metallic/ semiconducting carbon nanotubes, so I used the agarose gel chromatography technique for the separation, where the eluded solution is the metallic and the trapped is the semiconducting ones. As presented in the paper - the attached link - I used sodium deoxycholate to release the trapped semiconducting carbon nanotubes, however it didn't release the S-CNT and the agarose gel still black in color indicating that both metallic and semiconducting CNT are still trapped in the gel.

How can I release the trapped CNT from the gel?
