There is a significant difference in the generalities of the functioning of the cerebral hemispheres in men and women. I join the selection of articles for you (Majid professionally did this).
I would like to share a critical review on this issue written by Jeannette McGlone in 1980: Sex differences in human brain asymmetry: a critical survey.
This manuscript reflects the evolution of the discussion since then, which had many shades, as it can be seen by the discussions at the end of the manuscript, which is very interesting in views, opinions and facts.
Lately, there are many studies based on EEG, fMRI that have found functional differences and specific features that are unique to each sex and in some cases to each hemisphere of the brain of males and females.
The disucusion will continue generating interest and wonders as new studies and findings will shed more light.
Well, I have a simple clarification. Given a problem, do you think that the way a man conceptualize would significantly differ from that of a woman’s conceptualization?
If conceptual model itself is different based on the varying physiological reasons for men and women’s brain, then, won’t we end up with multiple solutions; and in turn, can’t we deduce the best solution for each problem?
