Rack and pinion (Pitman’s arm) that used to convert the rotary motion of the vehicle into a linear motion along the axis of movement from side to side. From this knowledge, the relationship between the turning angle and the straight length is obtained.

The steering arm is installed parallel to the diameter of the front wheel so that the angle of turning the front wheel is the same as the angle of turning the steering arm. The length of the steering arm is shorter than the spokes of the front wheel.
