Dear Ladies and Gens,

When it comes to business models it seems that academica and business practitioners have quite some different opinions. Statements like it starts with the defintions continues about an missing universal language, or different approaches and so on...

What is your opinion on this?

As it concerns the business world and the researchers as well, i would like to invite booth sides to this discussion.

Currently i see the business model canvas an appropriate representative for an innovative approach. (According the over 8.000 citations, and the rise of thinkers50 in 2015 #15 to 2017#7 of Mr. Osterwalder and Pigneur.

The concept must be simple, relevant and intuitively understandable.

I believe that innovativ ideas of start-ups going alternative paths for financing would be the perfect enviroment to measure the acceptance of beeing simple, relevant and understandable.

Br and Thx for further input
