Hi guys,
Could you identify this snake species collected by me a few years back from Western Ghats of India.
Family Uropeltidae. Most likely an Uropeltis.
It looks some species of Uropeltis of family Uropeltidae
Check it as Uropeltis rubromaculatus
May be a Rhinophis, still in the family Uropeltidae
It could be Uropeltis rubrolineata. However is hard to give a definitive identification from the rather blurry photo! The geographic location on the Western Ghats may help narrow down the species.
If we can do, please suggest an example of one such article. Thank you
