Material Flow Analysis (MFA) is often applied at regional and urban level in order to understand and improve flows and stocks of construction materials.
Do you know examples (case studies or conceptual frameworks) of an MFA applied at building level (for instance a single residential or office building) ?

Had a master student comparing the environmental impacts of a subsurface building with an aboveground building using LCA. He used the design drawings to analyse materials used in this case. This may be of interest.
Also the report on The Resource Efficiency: Economics and Outlook (REEO) report for Asia and the Pacific (UNEP,2011) although not focused at the building level could be interesting.
