The management in the emergency department includes the intramuscular administration of epinephrine, oxygen, fluids to support circulation, intravenous administration of cortisone and antihistamines, observation of 12 -18 hours to avoid biphasic anaphylaxis. The patient should be trained in the use of adrenaline. At the time of discharge self-injectable epinephrine should be prescribed.
We recommend visit al the allergologist to allergy skin tests, even with latex and fresh mango, component resolving diagnosis for latex allergens.
