Hi all,

there are some months that I've this 'problem'. A protocol of bacterial pellet lysis, ask for the addition of a solution 2M of sodium L-tartrate (I've started from the dibasic monohydrate powder).

I tried to solve it in distilled water, tris buffers and phosphate buffers (that are compatible with my lysis protocol), but I've always not solved reagent.

a collegue (chemist) suggest to sonicate or wait for an over-night dissolution, but I didn't 'solve' my problem.

does someone know the procedure, or if there is a critical step during the preparation?

thanks in advance for your help!

Giuseppe
