It all depends which software do you have access to. As I am a user of STATISTICA software, I used a few times the material posted by StatSoft, e.g. http://documentation.statsoft.com/STATISTICAHelp.aspx?path=MachineLearning/MachineLearning/Overviews/MachineLearningProgramOverview. I am not an expert in this field, but maybe this link will help.

So here are a few ways that you can begin with machine learning. Since you already have the basics in Mathematics clear, you can start by looking at:

The course on Machine Learning by Dr. Andrew Ng on Coursera. It begins with a very basic and thorough introduction to basic classification and regression techniques.

Another requirement for Machine Learning is datasets. Kaggle.com has a lot of datasets available and also provides you python and R kernels to practice and compete in machine learning related tasks

If you want to get into deep learning, cs231n course taught at Stanford has an open course website so you can follow and learn about neural networks and its variants

And the next best thing is just watch and read about it on the web. There is a ton of information and all the top researchers like Dr. Nando De Freitas and Dr. Geoff Hinton have uploaded their course material and lectures on Youtube.
