Hi,
I am a Master Student studying Logistics and Supply Chain Management. I am going to be writing my dissertation soon, I am interested in Industry 4.0.
I know that there is a lot out there, however, I will be progressing to do a PhD within the Strategy area and I want my Masters dissertation to go into my PhD.
Therefore, I am struggling to come up with a dissertation topic.
If anyone could give me some ideas on a dissertation topic which would involve both Strategy and Industry 4.0, I would be very grateful!!!

Another good source of ideas is a research conference in your area. Attend sessions on topics that interest you and network with researchers. This can stimulate ideas.
An exciting area could be the application of the Internet of Things in a selected industry for managing logistics and or supply chain management. A case study on a specific company from an emerging country will also be an interesting topic. Thanks.

Looking for some ideas / advice in regards to dissertation topics. It needs firstly to read more and more in your field. Then you can read a lot of research titles of papers or master or Ph. D. thesis. Then you can determine the attractive field you like to work in it. Then you should read more papers in this topic. By doing this, you will be able to determine the new topics in your field and it will guide you how to conduct the research.
