Apart from Bower's, Miller Method can be used for the Type-II Mechanisms. The difference in Type-1 based estimations and actual calibration is the magnitude of excess pressure caused by Type-2 mechanisms. Estimate that number, correlate that difference with some geological significance to use this information in other places within area where it is applicable.
