I will use the extended version of Community of Inquiry (including Learning Presence) together with AI technology. I would be interested in combining multiple experiences with EFL freshmen (or older) for collaborative research.
What kind of collaboration do you propose? Is it just an authorship in a paper?
I am trying to create an international work group to promote a sinergy between AI applied to English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and the Community of Inquiry(CoI) principles. The main element of a potential future paper (based on empirical case-studies) would be admistering the official CoI questionnaire to a representative number of learners who were involved in AI-related activities. We may even consider to enrich the CoI standard questionnaire with additional items (questions) related to the perception of AI-related tasks.
Thus, it is necessary that the future members of this group are involved in courses of EFL and are willing to introduct AI tools in their teaching activities.
