List your interest as Geophysics, not control systems. Most of the geophysics schools are anxious for students. Once you get in, then take some classes in control systems.

Fundamental understanding of geoscience must come before any hope of having success with detection technology. Geoscience data is complex and always incomplete because of the third dimension that extends into to the subsurface. Interpretations of subsurface data are non-unique solutions subject to the problems of correlation that is not related to causation. Having a broad understanding of mineral deposits will allow you to interpret data with realistic models that are more likely to be predictive of success. Find a school where you can learn all about the geoscience of mineral deposits that is also located in an area where you can go to the field and study relevant rocks such as Colorado School of Mines. Do online searches to see who is publishing papers that interest you and contact those authors.

ASU major i've admitted called "exploration system design" on earth and space school. But UofA has given me half of merit scholarship. So i'm hoping I'll get more financial aid from them.

I just want to be serious on real time research with getting the foundational knowledge of geoscience simultaneously.

To get a graduate research assistantship position for pursuing Masters, it needed to have sufficient profile strength and a strong background. Unfortunately, I had nothing relevant major experience. I had tried doing GRE preparation also, after taking a lot of struggle experiences to learn various deep skills since earlier 13 years, I’m afraid my difficulties are severe that it seems so hard to attain the requirements like GRE, Publication, etc. I had tried to write emails to many professors and admissions authorities for last three years continuously. Most of the graduate directors recommend starting my undergraduate study.

I’m running out of 28 years.

I am always amazed by this question. Go to the best school for the specialty you desire. In your case, it is THE COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES !!!~ If you are any good, you will graduate after a lot of hard work, and doors will open for you because the alumni base will help you in ways you might never know or even be aware of.

I just want to see it for world betterment and to convert it as eco-friendly cause I'm grateful to science and scientists. It needs way more to go. But every scientific initiative has conducted with the idea first. Huge effort and team work needed to be implemented But I'll try to do something at least, Machine learning would help me with this interest, I can imagine with it in future. Earthquakes are one primary tool used to study volcanoes. A volcano seismologist studies the earthquakes that are generated as magma moves through Earth’s crust.

Volcano Activity Updates

#MaunaLoa is not erupting. Webcam imagery shows weak, residual incandescence intermittently in the inactive Northeast Rift Zone fissure 3 lava flow at night. Seismicity remains low and ground deformation rates have decreased. Sulfur dioxide (SO2) emission rates are at background levels. #Kilauea is not erupting. Lava supply to the Halemaʻumaʻu lava lake in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park ceased on December 9. Sulfur dioxide emission rates have decreased to near pre-eruption background levels and were last measured at approximately 200 tonnes per day (t/d) on December 14. Seismicity is elevated but stable, with few earthquakes. Over the past week, summit tiltmeters recorded several deflation-inflation (DI) events. There were three earthquakes with 3 or more felt reports in the Hawaiian Islands during the past week: a M3.3 earthquake 14 km (8 mi) S of Fern Forest at 7 km (4 mi) depth on Dec. 27 at 4:33 a.m. HST, a M3.4 earthquake 7 km (4 mi) WSW of Volcano at 2 km (1 mi) depth on Dec. 24 at 8:31 p.m. HST, and a M2.5 earthquake 1 km (0 mi) S of Mountain View at 11 km (7 mi) depth on Dec. 24 at 9:57 a.m. HST.

In the photo, an HVO technician adjusts a volcanic gas analysis instrument that was specifically designed for this Unoccupied Aircraft System (UAS) unit, which carries three one-liter analysis bags. The instrument transmits gas concentration information in real-time during the flight at Kīlauea summit. USGS has special use permits from the National Park Service to conduct official UAS missions as part of HVO's mission to monitor active volcanoes in Hawaii, assess their hazards, issue warnings, and advance scientific understanding to reduce impacts of volcanic eruptions. Launching, landing, or operating an unoccupied aircraft from or on lands and waters administered by the National Park Service within the boundaries of Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park is prohibited under 36 CFR § 1.5 - Closures and public use limits.

You might want to look at the University of Tasmania in Australia. It has excellent economic geology courses that will give you a very comprehensive view of exploration geology.

Try the Laurentian University in Sudbury, Canada. They claim to have "world's largest mineral exploration and mining service" school. I know there have been reductions recently in their activities. But it is worth a try.

Michael Issigonis I tried to reach out them, dear Michael. Even they haven't waived application fee! I found USA has much potential to seek admission. Canada seems so luxurious!

I've been honestly looking at North America and Australia. The journey is so hectic , it seems!
