These ones are the main disruptive technologies in order to make a transformation on logistics processes. However, consider that "interoperability" between theses technologies and information flow is the key to the successfull of Logistics 4.0 implementation programs.

I am interested to read business intelligence papers which focuses on lowering raw material inventories in the High Tech manufacturing industry. I ran an applied food production project years ago but high tech competent is far more complex.

The integration of all these topics together may be a bit tricky for academic research, I suggest taking it gradually by integrating just two or three of these topics in one research.

All of those are interesting topics, but rather broad and fuzzy. What about adding Blockchain and AI? As academics we need to clearly define the concepts we are working with, operationalize them and carefully investigate their impact. All of these topics will definitely inspire inspire future publications, but we need to make sure that we all talk about the same thing. In a nutshell, we need to turn buzzwords into operable concepts.

Adding management buzzwords = increased productivity or increased outlay on external consultants ? How much of the data which you can collect actually adds value to your process? How much of the data shared is actually utilized by each node?

In my mind, Logistics of production + Business Intelligence + Internet of Things + Learning machines + Internet + Big Data could, tomorrow, constitute Advanced analytics supporting production logistics processes...

But, I however think that we have to be very careful in the use of these emerging technologies and in the amalgamations that can be made...

For example, e-logistics referrs, for 20 years, to logistics of e-commerce (Business to Consumer), that-is-to say to distribution logistics, and not at all to industrial logistics...

In a nutshell, I would say that it is definitely the case that ICT is transforming logistics in many ways, but this is a trend that has been going on for years.
