I am working on varietal response of a crop to varying doses of a herbicides. My first step aimed at obtaining the effective dose causing 50% response (ED50) by the crop. I have collected crop injury data (0 - 10 scale) and I now want to do the analysis using R software
I would apreciate if you could assist me with syntax or a prepared script for edditing to do the analysis. Further, which other software can I use?
You can use R for analyzing your data. For your specific questions about finding dose responses, you may follow the package in R called, drc. In drc package, you can use drm() function. Look in the google for drc package and the related information.

I was wondering if I can preform the same analysis with Genstat ? Just for comparison and experience...
