Is there any offical document where I can find the regulation on the limit of residual beta-lactams in drugs and food? I have already read FDA cGMP and also EU GMP but I couldn't find any clear information abou that.
As I recall (in the 1970's) beta-lactams must be made in a 'dedicated' facility in order to manufacture a drug product (see FDA 21CFR***), thus it should NEVER be found in foods or another drug (there is no safe limit).
